Drake & Brody
So we will be finding out if these boys are identical or fraternal soon. Take a moment to place your bet on the poll to your right! Do you see more differences or similarities?... Identical or fraternal?...And are the differences you see because of the big weight difference?... Oh all the possibilities...

35 Weeks
Had another appointment today. Great news again, and we are so thankful. Our newest info: Baby B has flipped again (back to breech). I cannot believe what these guys are capable of :). We got a few pictures of Baby A. He has the most adorable chubby cheeks. We just get more and more excited to meet them. We'll go see our ultrasound doctor and our ob again next week. Stay tuned... :)

34 Weeks and Counting...
We have been SO thankful for the good news we keep receiving at our doctor appointments. Today was our 5th ultrasound and we wanted to give an update.
Weights:
Baby A: 5 lbs 11 ozs
Baby B: 4 lbs 11 ozs
Our doctors will keep an eye on their weights to make sure they isn't too much of a discrepancy between the two.
Position:
Sometime between last Friday and today, both boys decided to flip, so neither one is breech! Hooray, hooray! We are REALLY amazed that they flipped considering their tight constraints!
Estimated arrival date:
Who knows?... :) But the doctors seem to be very optimistic that I'll last a while. For our 36 week appointment, our ob will give us his recommendation regarding what kind of birth we may be in for.
I'm feeling pretty good. I definitely feel like I've been full term for a few months now, but I guess that's expected. More than just being uncomfortable, we are all just so excited that the boys have done so well, and that my health continues too. I'm up and about, trying to keep up with Eloise as best I can. :)
Phil is the best husband. He has been working overtime to take care of his two girls. For me, he goes grocery shopping, cleans up, picks Eloise up out of her crib, on to the changing table (etc), and tells me how proud he is of me! :) For Eloise, he takes her to the park, gives her shoulder rides, changes diapers, gives her meals. and reminds her how much we love her.
When asked, "Are you going to be a big sister, Eloise?" She exclaims, "Yah!" And when we ask her, "How many babies are we going to have?" She holds up one finger and says, "Two." She climbs up to peek into the boys' crib and calls for the babies. She puts her blanket on my belly and pats it and says, "Nuh-night, baby." She is going to be a great big sister, and a great helper to us. And she's just so much fun to be around.
We are so excited for these boys to arrive. Just wanted to share in our excitement!!!

An Announcment
I know we haven't blogged in forever. But what better way to start back blogging with a wonderful announcement. Here's a clue. :)

It's true. Eloise is reading up because she is going to be the big sister of twin siblings! I'm 13 weeks, and feeling pretty good today.
We knew we were pregnant. At 6 weeks, we went into our doctor for our normal first appointment. We got an ultrasound, only to have our doctor announce that we have twins. We were both shocked. We both got teary and laughed. We laughed so much that my doctor told me that I had to stop for a bit so he could get both babies' heartbeats.
Both babies continue to grow and everything so far looks healthy. We are so thankful.
We are learning more and more about twins. We are so thankful for our ob and our ultrasound doctor. We know that this pregnancy is high risk, so with that comes more anxiety, but we're learning that these babies are the Lord's already. So for that, we are thankful, and we continue to learn how to trust.
We can't believe we're really having twins. Every now and again, more realities settle. We are so excited, and for now, we are just preparing, learning, and enjoying our time as a family of 3. Eloise doesn't know what is happening yet, although she does know where to point when we ask her where the babies are. She is such a joy, and it has been such a sweet time to enjoy her.
Well, that's all for now. Just wanted to share the news!
