For our anniversary, we went to a Brazilian restaurant named Fogo de Chao in Chicago. Above is a picture of the menu. They had 10 varieties of meat that they cook in large chunks and wait staff come to your table, and carve you off a piece. You can indicate whether or not you would like more meat by the card on your table. The food was really good, and the restaurant was unlike anything we had been to before.

September 29th, 2005: Getting To Know You
The Durias side of our family hosted a Filipino feast close to where I grew up. Here, we were able to spend time with our out-of-town guests.

Our friend, Nate Allman (in the picture above, middle) put on a great concert for everyone. He also lead the songs during the rehearsal and wedding.

Some more friends that came to celebrate with us.

Mr. & Mrs. Peterson

All Phil's guys...Enough to make a football team.
Just after walking out of the church after the ceremony.

Our first dance.

What Filipino celebration would be complete without an entire pig (or two, or three)? Here are some of our friends that made it possible to continue the celebration with our own pig head!

Honeymooners!

We honeymooned in the Riviera Maya, just south of Cancun, at an all inclusive called, Secrets of Excellence. This is the view from our room. Just to the left of the picture is the ocean.

Here we are in the main lobby area on our way to dinner.

On our balcony before a day on the beach.
On a snorkeling trip. Like my life jacket?
