Colorado Here We Come!

Multnomah is flying Ligaya out to the Torchbearer Schools in Colorado to recruit students for the college. I am going with too. I have my term paper due while we are gone so I am working hard to get it done before we go. Motivation: 2 feet of fresh powder fell at the ski resort. Woo hoo!

Thank you Multnomah!

St. Valentine's Day

Ligaya took me out for dessert to the Edgewater (the location of our rehersal dinner). I gave her this rose....almost as beautiful as Ligaya. :)

Money Talk

Our church asked me to teach a class on stewardship last Saturday. I forgot how much I enjoy teaching and look forward to mo' opportunities.

Putting the stud in studious.

My midterm has come, but don't worry...I should be done before the Superbowl. I know my priorities....

January in Review Part I

Our friend's from Colorado, Nate and Lee Anne, visited us for the weekend.

Nate played a concert at Seattle Pacific University. The girls swooned until they realized he was married...

On Sunday we had a spontaneous afternoon with the Vanker family. Rustin (far right) is smiling extra hard for me.

January in Review Part II

I am checking out seminaries this month. After checking out Regent College's program, we hit up Vancouver.

Ligaya's friend got us a sweet deal to stay at the water front. This was our view!

We met with Ligaya's Firwood friends. Dinner with Canadians is never boring.

On the way home from Vancouver, we stopped by the Dombach's to see how BIG Isaiah has become.

Bellingham, WA is never complete without a stop at Cruisin' Coffee.

Our Christmas Vacation in Review

This is my side of the family. (Ligaya and Phil on the left, mom in the middle-back, my sister Kristin and brother-in-law Matt on the right, and my brother Paul in front.)

Grand Cayman Island in the Caribbean is our destination.

Day 1

Welcome to our villa "Le Rendezvous".

The kids kickin' it in the living room after a "hard" day of travel.

Christmas dinner.

Day 2

Philippines represented at our first beach.

I saw a nurse shark on my first day of snorkeling. That was my cue to leave the water.

Welcome to Grand Cayman's underwater wildlife.

Mo' wildlife.

Day 3

I am waiting to go scuba diving at the bottom of the ocean for the first time!

Meanwhile, Kristin and L went snorkeling.

The girls went to the local tea room for lunch. The guys were happy to let them and got a burger instead.

Shopping together in George Town.

Matt and Ligaya posing for the camera. One word: awkward.
